The EGU General Assembly 2019 was again a great success with 16,250 presentations: 5,531 orals, 9,432 posters, and 1,287 PICOs. The programme featured 683 unique scientific sessions together with 87 short courses and 338 side events. 16,273 scientists from 113 countries participated, of which 53% were under the age of 35 years. The EGU online information desk is available during the main vEGU21: Gather Online session hours. General questions and information will be given to attendees, presenters, conveners, and chairpersons through text-based chats. Of course, Copernicus Meetings’ email support is also ensured. The opening hours of the EGU online information desk are. EGU membership required. Only EGU members are able to submit an abstract as first author. You can become member or renew your membership at the EGU webpage. Abstract processing charges (APCs) Please note that submission of an abstract incurs an abstract processing charge (APC) of €40. The EGU General Assembly 2021 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.Please note that, besides general attendees of the conference, all individuals involved in any sessions, i.e. conveners, co-conveners, presenting authors, co-authors, as well as chairpersons, must be registered for the conference in order to obtain access to the live sessions. *Registering and paying the corresponding registration fee is personal, assigned to a single user account, and not transferable.
*Renew your EGU membership to benefit from reduced registration rates and to be eligible to submit an abstract. You can renew your membership while registering for the meeting.
